In March 2012 the new Program in Comparative Literature at Ibn Zohr University, Agadir, Morocco held its first international conference. The papers ranged across many subjects, each engaging with critical issues in the study of literature, with the specific location of the conference in mind.  One of the conveners of the conference, Professor Touria Nakkouch, and I are writing a blog on this event that will appear soon, and be posted here and on Arcade.
